I'm wanting to order one of these and can't decide what soundboard and wood combo. I'm thinking maybe an aluminum soundboard in an acrylic or paduak pot. I also think it would be killer in an Osage pot.

What do you guys think?

Aluminum soundboard in acrylic pot would be my first choice.

I have an acrylic stoned aluminum over glass and a Padauk stoned aluminum over aluminum. Both are fantastic calls but I like the Padauk the best. It is just plain nasty.

Well, I just ordered a stoned aluminum over aluminum in an Osage orange pot. This purchase was definitely an impulse buy!

How does the stoned aluminum sound versus his anodized aluminum?

The stoned aluminum grabs slot better and stays conditioned longer. The anodized gets slick on foggy mornings almost every time.
