Been in the mood to do some reading. Started looking around at books I would be interested in and found The Turkey Hunting world of Ben Lee. I have seen the book before and was interested in it but never pulled the trigger. Stories of Ben Lee have interested me and I know he was quite the hunter it seems. I have ordered the book, but was curious what others thought of it? Thanks for any input.
I listened to a lot of his cassettes back when I began turkey hunting. Very entertaining.
I collect turkey hunting books( not a huge collection but probably around 200 or so some duplicate copies) and although I haven't read it in awhile remember it was definitely worth reading. Another good inexpensive how to book was The secrets to successful turkey hunting by John Phillips . Enjoy the read..
He seemed to have done a lot of living in a short amount of time. Gone too soon.
Good read. You will notice a bit of difference in "perspective" maybe between then and now. Turkey hunting for a lot of folks these days is not how he did it. I would wonder what he would say now......
I enjoyed watching videos he was in. Very entertaining.
