Title: New Sharpe Wingbone
Post by: gergg on September 17, 2016, 08:02:39 PM
Just received this wingbone call from Mark Sharpe, not only is it beautiful, but it sounds amazing. I am still learning how to play the thing, but would not hesitate to hunt with it today. The call sounds very realistic and can make a wide range of sounds/tones. It has what I hear as a hollowness to it with a lot of pop/snap/rollover...... It is also very easy to play. I am having a blast messing with it and can't put it down, it just might be my favorite call ever. I was so impressed with the call that I immediately ordered another one.

Can't believe it took me nearly 40 years of hunting turkeys to try a wingbone, dang, lost time.

I have one also & have just been lazy about posting it on here, but will when I get back from Alaska. I absolutely love mine, it's probably the best sounding call I have.

Congrats on a fine call.  Top notch call and maker.   If you haven't already, you should try one of his cane calls too.   both have been proven killers for me.

Yeah, I plan on it...lol...I think it was your Sharpe cane call sound file that I listened to last year? sounded great and was part of the inspiration to order his calls....my initial inclination was to order the cane call, but changed my mind at the last minute.

Can't go wrong with either one, both are full of turkey.   Trouble is, their kind of addictive.

Hey Mark, great little call.......I am really getting the hang of it now, of course I haven't put it down since I got it so lots of practice already. I went out in the woods and played it a bit tonight, sounds awesome, really looking forward to hunting with it. And as the others have stated, a real pleasure to get to know you Mark.
