I know...it ain't turkey calls.........but you can sure skin him out with this...made it from an old 10" circular saw blade.....it was so hard I had to anneal it on the tang just to drill the holes to mount the handles....which are snakewood...it is 6 - 1/4" long and sharp as a tack....with a hollow ground blade, I still have to polish it up some but what ya thunk?
I like that a lot Jack. I could use a good skinning knife. Is that one for sale?
Beautiful Pappy

As soon as i finish it I will put it out for sale, I want to make a sheath for it too.
Jack that is one sweet knife. Anything snakewood is just awesome and the contour fits nicely with the blade. Thanks for sharing.

:camohat: I betcha when you hold it it's an extension of your hand, all one piece so to speak. Nice knife!

WOW Pappy ! You sure read my mind ! Great lookin knife ! :icon_thumright:
Updated pic decided to go a little bigger, and work on the area where the tang and blade meet. Took some G-10 and made some temp handles, Also dipped it in Ferric Acid solution to get the grey color I wanted to dull it up some ....and changed the angle of the handle and dropped to two rivets instead of three. The new one is an inch longer then the first one even though it looks like a giant next to it. And i decided not to hollow ground this one did some flat grinding and finished it up on the stones.
