Hey guys I just played around with an old slate call I have since Sat. is opening day and it leaving alot to be desired. I was wondering what the major difference is between Slate, glass, ceramic,alum. etc. And can anyone suggest a few good friction calls I could find at a local retail store.
Ok. This is just a suggestion. I would spend a little more money on a Custom call. There are lots of great callmakers that will get you a great call. I make Custom Calls myself. I think there is some good sounding store bought calls and Im not knocking them. But look around in the call classifieds and call some callmakers and we will be glad to play them for you. Then you can make a decision of what you want. But I think you will like a custom call once you have heard one. Thanks I will be glad to let you listen to some of what I got.
