You didn't talk to "Star Dot", you talked to Colonial Choke and Tool whom makes clones of the original Star Dot. There was a lot of internet buzz about who originally produced the Star Dot chokes. Some folks believe Highlander Sports stole the design from Colonial and vice versa. The one I received from Colonial turned out to be .680 where as the original Highlander Sports labeled one I have is a .676 as well as the Preston Pittman choke.
