Made this a couple weeks back, made from an original Western issue Model 77 blank from 1982....I got a hand full of these a while back and let me tell ya, it is a blast working with these, from grinding to sanding to heat tempering and making the handles and all...even made the sheath....this is an 8-1?2" total length knife with a 4" blade that has been hollow ground on both side. The handles are Holly with 4 Aces & an 8 wood burned on one side ....headed to the classiefies....pappy
