We're on vacation coming down from Niagra Falls through NY and PA to Gettysburg. The rolling hills and woodlands are truly beautiful! I couldn't help but think about turkey hunting as we were driving. Sure is a different game than the fields, small woods and river bottoms I hunt in Iowa. Now I understand running & gunning and lots of scouting. Looks like a lot of fun.
Welcome to PA terrain! Lol. It's pretty but it can be a bugger to hunt!

Yup! But I'll take a basket rack buck here over a private land food plot giant any day!

That's what I always say when the talk gets to be about our giant Iowa bucks. "No deer in Iowa".
