Title: Turkey hunting in July and Aug in Iowa

Of course we can't shoot them, but it's kinda like catch & release fishing. There's an online site to report sightings. They record sightings by county, numbers and by sex & age where possible. I've been able to report 3 sightings so far. Fun!

I already wanted to move there for years for the deer hunting. Turkey in July and august......just about sold my property in pennsylvania.

I've been scouting for bow season and have been spotting turkeys and marking there location for future references, these are pu lic hunting areas I haven't hunted since I was a kid. There is a large flood basin I hunt that has been flooded for probably 6 months that is finally  dry and I have been using my calls in hopes of finding some turkeys moving back in
