Title: Benelli Steady Grip Question
Post by: VaTuRkStOmPeR on July 13, 2016, 10:00:04 PM
I posted this in the turkey gun section but traffic is slow in there this time of the year.

Anyhow, I recently purchased a steady grip for my M2 through the OG classifieds, however, I can't get the stock within 1/2" of the receiver.  It appears the hex nut located on the recoil spring locking bolt will not pass through the plastic Oring located just in front of the swivel plate area.

For those of you who have steady grips, does anyone know the difference in design between an M1 steady grip and the M2 steady grip?  I'm trying to figure out if the issue is my gun or the issue is the stock I was sold is actually meant for an m1 instead of the m2.

Here are the pictures of the interior of the stock and the plastic Oring that won't accommodate the hex nut found on the m2 recoil spring locking screw.

Thanks in advance for any feedback/assistance you guys can provide.

I don't see any of the pictures you mentioned, get those posted up and I might be able to help you out, or someone here will, at least...
