Title: Pot call tips
Post by: Life of Riley on July 11, 2016, 07:20:20 AM
Just wondering if any of you guys have any pot call tips? I read on another forum to hold a lighter to the surface of a slate pot to draw any moisture out of it. I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to try it but a couple guys were swearing by it.

Box call chalk or rain chalk on the surface
I did this on one of my anodized aluminum calls.  Was having a real hard time finding a striker that would grip the surface well enough.  Tried a little box call chalk at the suggestion of a guy I talked to at a local outdoors show.  Works great.
