I know this is a much talked subject, but I am going to be down and out after a hernia surgery... Looking for a book on the strategies and biology of turkey hunting...
Right now I'm reading Kenny Morgan's "America Wild Turkey & Mongrel Dogs" about half way through it and I've enjoyed it as much as his first.

I think Spencer's "Turkey Hunter's Digest" is one of the best when it comes to strategy.
For simply good reading, "Bad Birds" (also Spencer's) is my absolute favorite. Also, the three books by John M. McDaniel are wonderful reading.
Old Pro Turkey Hunter and One Man Game.
^ Those are my two favorites. Jim Casada keeps a good inventory of turkey books for sale.
:camohat: Can't beat Ken Morgan, either of his books. 2X
Bill Schmidt's-- Tales Of A New York Turkey Hunter is a good Summer book.
Seems like we are in for a long summer, books are a great idea.
Lovett Williams - " Art and Science of Wild Turkey Hunting" outstanding work on all aspects.
James G. Dickson - " The Wild Turkey - Biology and Management" text book and loaded with info.
The Tenth Legion and Illumination in the Flatwoods. Surprised they haven't been mentioned. Turkey Hunting: A One Man Game I also agree with.
Anything written by Lovett Williams will teach you a lot that man knew turkeys good look with the surgery I had the same one a few years ago and recovery was not fun
You will learn lots reading Lovett Williams,Ray Eye has some good reading too.
