This court ruling is not a good one.

Only in California.....
The 9th "circus" court of appeals always makes me shake my head. Pitiful....

I concur. What the hell is going on?
All The Way!
While we're building a wall we should go ahead and extend it up the California state line. Then give California to Mexico to help pay for it.

The decision does, without a doubt, open a great big can-O-worms on the subject. Wouldn't it be nice if we could get some folks with some common sense to come up with some reasonable compromises on these types of issues?!
If Hillary is elected Pres., we'll likely see more of these decisions since she'll be able to stack the courts with anti's...

Biggest issue in this election, imho. Stacking the SCOTUS with liberals will be the death of America. They will start on the 2nd amendment on day #1.

The 9th Circuit Court affects more than just California (Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, etc.), but the other states would have to make the law which is doubtful.
It will be overturned when it hits the REAL Supreme Court. But it does show the direction.
And actually, it doesn't really hurt too much. They were just attempting to remove the "good cause" stipulation....in other words, all you have to say is that you fear for your safety when in the general public. Simple as that.

I agree it sucks. But read the entire ruling, its long but interesting. There have been rulings by the courts for several hundred years saying the 2nd amendment does not protect concealed carry. So nothing new really. What the ruling revolves around is that they ruled the 2nd amendment does not prohibit California's "good clause" law. In other words, the state can enact more stringent law requiring you to have good cause to carry, and this doesn't violate the 2nd amendment. But it does seems like the courts continue to try and whittle away at what is and isn't inferred under the 2nd amendment. God help us....

Trouble with compromise is that anything short of the RIGHT to KEEP and BEAR arms is a loss of constitutional guarantees. This isn't something that you give something, you get something in return. The antis want to take something and give nothing...
My take is fight until there's nothing left...Make the antis earn every last infringement...
