My brother isn't really a turkey hunter, but for his birthday a few years ago I had a pretty nice box call made for him thinking it would be a cool conversation piece for his desk. And there it has sat for the past two years and he has no chalk and doesn't even know how it sounds.
Being the thoughtful brother I am, the other day I sent him a stick of chalk to his office through the good old US postal service. This is where it gets good. He called me tonight laughing saying the chalk was crushed by the rollers of the mail equipment turning the chalk to dust and bursting the envelope. The mail workers were horrified that it was anthrax and were preparing to call the authorities until a call to my brother revealed the truth.
Guess I need sturdier packaging or he needs to get to his local sporting goods store.
Guess you had to be there.
that is funny. I bet they were getting the Cipro out to take. :TooFunny:
I'm just glad I told him in advance to be looking for the chalk.
Yeah, or he could have been in trouble. Still funny though!!
