Title: bearded hens

my buddy killed a hen with a 9 inch beard on Sunday and said that there was two more in group with beards almost as long..  whats the longest beard ever killed on a hen?

i've seen a few with 8-9" beards on them. all the ones i have ever seen have looked thin

i killed one back in 92 that had a 5 1/2 beard, my cousin killed one a few years ago that was half white and had a 9 1/2 beard.

exactly... the beard wasnt real thick..  I just havent seen one much over six inches.. not to mention two or three together like that

I made my step-son pass one up on youth weekend that had a 6-8" beard but it was really thin compared to the toms that we kill on the property.
