Title: Me. Lonnie Sneed
Post by: TerryLNanny on May 29, 2016, 08:13:36 PM
What a pleasure. Ordered a couple calls, talked for thirty minutes. He's got a new ceramic prototype he played for me, man that thing is full of old Hen rasp, only problem, he's having a hard time getting ceramic at this time. He said he would let me know when he could get a steady supply. Also ordered from Gary Anderson, said he was having a hard time finding Ceramic.

I've had a couple phone conversations with Lonnie Sneed. He's a stand up guy. Called him to get a slate call as I've never found one that really made me happy up to that point. Ordered a hot hen and before I got off the phone with the gentleman, he talked me into an outlaw hen as well. Probably for the best though. I'm more of a glass guy. I will say this though, I've finally found a slate that made me happy. Won't say who made it as I don't particularly want to hijack this thread but if Mr. Sneed's hot hen is as good or better, there's going to be some turkeys in a world of hurt if I ever get over my dislike for the way slate behaves in foul weather. Seems we can't get a dry season here anymore.
