Locusts are good for something after all.
We can only hope this will help. I've been working in Belmont county the past week and cicadas were everywhere in the woods and fields. Should be plenty of food for poults. Haven't seen a turkey since the end of the season but have heard birds gobbling in the mornings.
I'm right across the river in wheeling and there everywhere on this side of the river to.
Hope you're swamped with toms next season!
That is awesome news.
Man I hope they hit here. When the cicadas are heavy, the best bass fishing is right around the corner. This things will hammer everything that hits the water when those bugs come out heavy. Regardless, glad to hear the turkey population will be well fed.
