Picked up this 1300 20 gauge for a summer project. Came with a 22" vent barrel with an extended .562 lead only tube. It's a youth gun and was surprised how well it fit in the sitting position. After disassembling, inspection and cleaning I checked the poa/poi with a Federal Premium 2-3/4" in 7 1/2's at 20 yards. Looks pretty good to me. It has some finish issues which I plan on taking care of with aerosol Duracoat.
That looks like a fun project. Not much better in the "off season" that working on guns. I look forward to seeing what you do to it.
Thanks,
Clark
Interested to see what you come up with! Now you've got me thinking of a 20ga. project... I'll blame you if/when the wife finds out!
Finished the project after deciding to go with matte black Duracoat and new original equipment adult stock and forend. For a first time Duracoat project it came out quite well. I'm a Winchester guy and this gun fits me as does the 12 gauge version. Here's some pictures.

Looks great!
That's quite a beautiful gun. Great job.
Thanks,

Lookin good,I like it. :icon_thumright:
Thanks guys! Seems like a great way to clean up an old gun for less than $50. Biggest key seems to be the cleaning/degreasing process. Never realized that a gun held so much gunk under the rib.
Saweet!

That thing looks good Mike. Let me know when you want to get rid of it.
Sharp looking shotgun. What load do you plan on shooting out of it?

I have 2 choke tubes that I'll be testing with Hevi and heavyweights, a Carlson .575 and a .582 Undertaker. We'll see where we go from there, maybe something tighter for the Hevi.
Good looking shotgun Mike ! You did good.
