So I have to admit I'm jealous of seeing a bunch of you folks hunting a bunch of different states thru out the season. I've only hunted NY. And this year has been a tough one here. 12x out, hunting hard and only played with gobblers 3x. Called in 4 hens now on different occasions. But it's hunting and not shooting ;D Some day I'll get to another state to hunt.
How many states have you hunted this season ?
How many states have you hunted lifetime ?
3 states this year
8 states total
7 this season
15 lifetime
3 so far this year but I'm headed to Maine and Vermont on Wednesday so it'll be 5 before I'm done this season.
Maybe 22 or 23 different states in my turkey hunting career?
Due to work/time constraints I've only hunted 3 lifetime and 2 this year
Two in my lifetime. Two this year. Hope to one day hunt some other states but time will tell.
I have hunted 2 this year and 5 lifetime.

Just here at home in Iowa. Don't think I'll ever spend the money to hunt turkeys out of state. If I am going to spend the money, and I have, I'd rather go boom more than once, unless we're talking big game. Ducks in Texas. Geese and ducks in Nodak. Lots of booming there!

New York, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Montana, Nebraska, Florida, Wyoming, Alabama, South Dakota.
Mexico twice..Once I'm fully retired I would love to hunt all 50 states..
Finally filled a NY tag yesterday morning..
Funny you should ask that question. Since I started traveling, I found that America is a beautiful country, and Florida leaves a lot to be desired. So I set a goal of killing a gobbler in all of the lower 48 states before I die.
So far I've hunted in 11 states, and killed gobblers in 9 of them. I've killed gobblers in Florida, S Carolina, N Carolina, W Virginia, Ohio, Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma and California. The two states I struck out in are Georgia and Alabama.
I've got plans to hit 3 or 4 new states next season before I retire at the end of May. After that, I'm wide open and traveling to kill gobblers!! :fud: :turkey:
3 states for me. New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Kansas
Four this year. Eight total. Hopefully gonna add 2 new ones next year.
Killed birds in 22 States and Durango, MX.. no intention at this time to attempt the US Slam.
Durango was by far the best adventure of all of them..

Next year I plan on adding Georgia and Texas to my list
I have hunted turkey's in 37 different states and killed birds in 36 of them. The only one I didn't kill a bird in was Arkansas last year.
Trying to kill one in every state.
If someone out there wants to swap a hunt or two for states I haven't been to, let me know. "HAVE GUN....WILL TRAVEL"
New York and New Jersey this Spring. 1st year I have missed PA since 1994. 16 year old truck-don't want to drive it more then 40 miles at a time anymore. Took a jake down in TENN near the Duck River and 30 miles south of Nashville. Hunted down there a few times.
Unfortunately I've just been able to hunt my home state in Kentucky and I've hunted Ohio one year. I'm looking to hunt a couple of more states in 2017. Any of you guys know of any good outfitters that's reasonable price right me a message. I would love to go back to Ohio and I would like to try Tennessee out.
Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. I would like to hunt some other states, but it's tough to take much time off from work.
4 this year. 33 overall. Try to explore new ground each year.
Since 1982, I've never hunted turkeys outside of an 8 county radius in central North Carolina. I hope to change that one of these days.
Jim

Not this season, but hunted Texas, Ohio, PA. and my home state of NY.
2 states this year........... TX & PA
6 states and two countries lifetime..........
only 2 states this year - Louisiana & Colorado, bird in both states, last year i hunted 6, had to back off a little LOL
past years - Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri
so that puts me at 13, better hit a new state next year to get away from that number, but haven't killed in Florida, Arkansas, & Oklahoma, might need to change that, especially Florida to finish up my personal Grand Slam, not bad at all for a country boy that has never deer hunted out of the state of Louisiana
12 and 49.
South Carolina
Georgia

Kansas
Nebraska
South Dakota
Wyoming
Hope to get a few new states on the list each year.
