Had some guest over the other night and after seeing some of my calls they said that I
must have a bad addiction. So it got me to wondering how many other guys on here have
this bad disease and how many calls you have?
I probably have 50 total. And counting.
1... Ok, maybe 2 or 3... I'm not sure? :help:
I'd say 25 to 30. But that number grows more and more each year.

TNTC..... ::)
To Numerous To Count......
I don't have to many.. Little over 100 ;D
I'm afraid to count them,
If I have to count mine for you to feel better or worse about yours, then yes you have a problem.
I plead the 5th
More than I need to or want to count.
more than i want to count as well
Only 1 or 2 depending on the season. However, there are A LOT of them around the house that I have no idea where they came from..........LOL.
I keep it manageable, i tend to trade or sell so I can buy new and just keep the few im attached to. I like to try new ones every year but I have too many other expensive hobbies to just have $1000 in calls sitting around not in use but the collection is always in change over. I probably bought 8-10 new ones but sold 5 or so.
Alot.
Sad part is that many are store bought calls that I have had for 20 plus years and they never get touched. I seem to take the same calls Everytime out. I figure I have little guys that will start out with the old store bought when they are ready. They already busted a few calling in mom.
No clue. Probably 50 pots, 25 box calls, 10 or so trumpets, a few push pins, and a couple scratch boxes. I've never smoked crack but it can't be much more addictive than fine turkey calls.
5 trumpets
6 Pots
3 boxes
24-30 diaphragms
1 scratch
probably around 20 or so.
WAY TO MANY ..... HOW MANY CAN I PLAY ON A HUNT. ????????????
A small sample, these are the calls that go in or rotate in my vest.

Not enough.
Way to many to only use a few but some were given to me as gifts I have my dads boxes and pot calls. I kept the first calls I started with and just added more from there and will keep adding :funnyturkey:
some of you folks need counseling ;D I think 6 slate calls, a push pin, Lynch's 101 foolproof I've had for 35 years and a gobble call.
more than its possible to use. Mike
12 box calls 5 of which are collectors, and will not come out of their packaging.
7 pot calls with 9 strikers
2 gobble calls
1 crow call
1 hawk screamer
2 tube calls
2 hoot tubes
I had WAY more calls, but I passed them on.
I shared this thread with my wife. Thanks guys!! Makes me look like a beginner :)
I have a "few" .. Over 100 trumpets alone..
I'm going to make someone real happy when they inherit all this stuff.

Andy you can just leave me the ones from callmakers who's last names begin with the letters B or C. :TooFunny:

I have somewhere around 30 gallons of boxcalls. :help:
Too many!
Enough to call in a turkey or 2.
Why, why, WHY would you EVER want to count them. That is a huge mistake! Did you count the number of cookies you ate this year? Or brewski's you drank.....I don't think so..... :o :o :o Some things are just better left unknown. ;)
Yes very addictive. Turkey season is over and I'm still buying calls. Must be going through withdrawal.

Enough to make my wife ask questions. Never says a word when a new gun shows up. I just keep telling her they're breeding in the drawer.
Gave several production calls away to my niece and nephews. Only kept 3 I think. There are 4 Yingling pots but I'm giving one to dad so 3 I guess. Two Halloran, one Sinclair, one Rick Roberts, two Mabry boxes and one SS box as well as an SS scratch box. That's fourteen I think. Throw in the couple tubes and a trumpet and you've got the total sum not counting a couple locators. I don't count diaphragm calls as they're relatively inexpensive all things considered and don't take up much space. I've got two on order from Lonnie Sneed and I'm shipping out payment to a member here on Monday for a Sinclair slate. Now that I've mentioned slate, it reminds me of my tylersburg yelpers stuff. I've got one of Richard's pot calls that grows on me a bit more every time I use it as well as his long slate (gotta check those out if you're a slate fan) and his pocket slate. Richard and Wendy are two nice people that really try to please their customers. Around 20 on tap with more to come if I've done the math right but I'm a public educator so who knows?
Whew I don't know and I don't want the Boss Hen to know either. I imagine when I die she is going to shovel them all into the garbage can.

Still growing as we speak!
Help me, I'm stuck and can't quit.
Maybe we need a sub-forum for this addiction and help!

I like it.............
An intervention forum for call collectors/accumulators/addicts...........
CCA........... Call Collectors Anonymous
There is no guessing how many I own , my best guess would be at least 300-400 hundred as a minimum , perhaps more they are scattered all over my place
Most are ones I or my father built for ourselves , quite a few pushpins , box and pot calls I've made over the decades
Not that many. Probly round a dozen pot calls. I look at my collection as a slow grower. Looking at some acrylics and corrian pots now. Wanting something a little more moisture resistant after this spring.
Turkey calls, duck calls, shotguns and money all have the same thing in common... You can never have too much....
100s.... Its a disease really. I haven't bought many the last couple years due to.... the wife..... lol
I have maybe 30 calls. I'm an amateur compared to you guys for sure :-)
All The Way!
