I really like how this one turned out. Matched with a red cedar striker. I used a piece of oak from a barn that was built in the 1800s. This piece was a chunk out of an old hand hewed beam. Had to fill some worm holes but this call is pure turkey. This one may go to the classifieds.

Why you fill in the holes? Wouldn't they make the sound resin ate more?
In this case no, they would not. I like the looks of filled worm holes and it strengthens any weakness the call may have had. More or less stabilizes the wood.
Really nice looking! I would like to see the bottom of the pot.
