Title: Question on rib width of an T/C 20 ga. Encore shotgun barrel
Post by: chatterbox on May 10, 2016, 12:36:46 PM
Hey guys!
I have some truglo magnum gobble dots that I had for my 20 ga Mossberg.
I couldn't get them to shoot low enough, so I was going to have a buddy of mine try them on his backup turkey gun.
He has an Encore T/C 20 ga, and I was wondering if the rib width on the Mossberg is the same as the Encore?

I don't think the T/C barrels have a rib.  Check the T/C website to confirm.  I know my 12 ga. Turkey barrel is ribless.

The turkey barrels don't have a rib. They do make barrels with ribs though

Time to get the micrometer out and measure.

Agreed. Probably do it this weekend.
