Title: Paypal
Post by: sbbow on May 08, 2016, 07:30:13 PM
We all know why the gift transaction stop. When we buy a call from a callmaker we make sure he gets the full amount. So why not give the full amount to somebody selling a used call. Does it have to have gift by it for you to give the full amount? Shannon did this to protect us from scammers. This is jmo.

When you are selling, business or private, why not just add a little to cover the fee and forget it. The fee isn't usually that big anyway.

I will not buy something and send money as a gift. It is not a gift. Most importantly it is not honest. Secondly it offers no protection on the purchase. It is a rule that I am glad it is being enforced.

I'm glad it's being enforced. My point is does it have to say gift for the seller to get what he's asking.

on a $50  call paypal fees are going to be roughly $1.50  so make it 51.50 ,,,its a buyers piece of mind alittle bit me I don't do gift payments or ask ( if someone does send as gift I do appreciate it ) ,,, and if your read enough boards its not always a private sales that goes bad ,,I have been burnt twice  on shipping calls before payment money orders being sent guys need calls before trips and one of them had got calls from me previous years ,,, well that don't happien anymore

I used to use the gift option, but then I realized it's nothing more than stealing. PayPal provides a service, and no business I know provides a service for free, nor should they.

They are hugely anti 2nd amendment so I try not to use them but never use gift period. Just add the fee if the seller requests.

They're anti 2nd amendment and they fully support the bill that allows transgenders or Men in general, to go into the same bathroom that little girls use... Some of your little girls could be in there, I may add. The heck with PayPal!

This is my way of thinking.

No I don't care for PayPal's political views but neither do I out governments but I don't stop spending dollars because of it.  Until there is another viable option I'll continue to use it.

Venmo is another option.

Most checking accounts and banks now send money with a cell phone number or email. Just might take it overnight to receive it. Chief
