Title: Beretta 391 SpeedBead FFIII
Post by: WAGinVA on May 06, 2016, 10:11:05 AM
Does anyone have any experience with The SpeedBead on a Beretta 391?  Benelli guys seem to be sold on them and others say they will not hold zero (due to the mount).  I have a 391 20 gauge and have finally located a SpeedBead setup for it (apparently Burris discontinued the 20 g unit some time ago).  I am really torn on purchasing for two reasons; I am concerned that the package is only available with the 8 MOA dot and am concerned about the mount holding zero.   I think I would be happier with the 3 MOA dot.  Any experience would be greatly appreciated.  I have successfully used this gun for the last five years with just the bead so if this will not work all is not lost!

I have an early 391 in 12 ga when they took mobil chokes. I have had a speed bead on it for the last 3 yrs. And it holds zero just fine. Ive shot it quite a bit from turkey loads to messing around shooting clays with it. IMO it is the best way to mount the fastfire all things considered
