Got everything pretty well set together, the length ended up to be 13 - 1/2" with an 8" blade. I used some brass stock and made the Pommel and Guard instead of trying to do the stainless steel thing, I like the brass with the snakewood handle.
I added some all thread to the tang and silver soldered it in place and threaded the pommel inside to fir 1/4" X 18tpi....next thing on the list is to make the sheath....

LOL....I have had several ask...but they are scared at my estimate because they do not realize the time and effort that went into it. No Brag just Fact....when you make something from scratch ...like grandma's biscuits and gravy....it is valued accordingly...so i will most likely be keeping this for a while...
