Title: Grandsons Rio before school this morning
Post by: Mike Honcho on May 03, 2016, 09:29:28 AM
Two of my high school age grandsons Kolbi and Tanner are outstanding athletes and high school baseball season has really limited their hunting time this spring.  They have been scouting three toms that always seem to be together and this morning they fit in a quick hunt before school started.  Kolbi connected on this nice Rio tom with my scoped BPS 10 gauge.

I don't have weight or beard and spur length as they were rushing to make it to school on time...looks like a pretty good sized bird, for reference Kolbi is 6' and 225 lbs (hence he gets the 10 gauge LOL)

I am really proud of them for fitting in some scouting time and making it happen!

Right on Kolbi!

Nice looking KS Tom.  Couple buddies hunting east of Oberlin put 2 on the board this AM as well.

Way to teach 'em well.
