Title: Trespass fee for North Kansas
Post by: duxrus on May 02, 2016, 06:04:03 PM
Figure it never hurts to ask but me and my dad will be hunting in NE week after next and then wanting to try our hand at some Kansas birds since we will already be so close to the border. If anyone has birds and would let us hunt their land for a fee please PM me. I know there are walk in areas but would rather hunt private land if possible. Dad about lost his arm in a tractor accident last summer so he isn't as agile as he used to be so I am just trying to cover as many bases as possible towards filling some tags. We both are avid and long time turkey hunters so no just looking for land and no guides.

Thx Brian

With the available walk in areas I would look no farther than those.  I've been to N Kandas and never had a problem killing birds.

Gooserbat is right.  Especially if you are hunting mid-week, there won't be much pressure

By this time of the year most the folks that live out there are done hunting so permission is not impossible to get by any means.

'bout where in NoKan are you gonna be looking?

Not sure. We are flying into omaha and heading to central NE for a three day hunt. After that thinking about dropping straight down into KS and making it up as we go. Have been looking at all the walk in tracts and wildlife areas. Maps printed out and making notes.
