Got out here Friday night. Had rained 8" before we got here. Saying that the roads are bad is an understatement ! Kept trying to get to several places but couldn't. Finally found some today and finally killed my 1st Rio. Good full fan and 1.25" spurs but he only weighed 17# and had a pencil thin 8" beard. Gobbled a ton and worked well. Shot him at 7 yds. No upgrade yet because my NC bird was so heavy. Out here til Saturday, looking for a bigger bird.

That' is a pretty bird. There's more out there with your name on em... Those Midwest birds are way easier to kill then our eastcoast birds, just remember that and it'll get you through. Have fun man!
