What is the best 2.75" turkey load shell to buy?  I have a fixed full choke barrel on the 20 guage I am restoring.  Figure options are limited with all the 3 inch guns now days?  Also what is the longest effective range for a 2.75" 20 guage with today's ammo?

Those 7 Heavyweights from Federal that Gophert noted are effective to 40 yards. Pattern your gun at a measured 40 yards to verify that you are putting a minimum of 100 pellets in a 10" circle. If you show less than that, shoot again getting closer to the target in 5 yards increments until you reach the 100 pellet threshold. That will then be the effective range of your gun with that particular load.

Good luck  :anim_25:

I would limit the 2-3/4 Fed HW load to 35 yards.
