Title: N.E.F. pardner
Post by: lmbhngr on April 30, 2016, 08:54:53 AM
Just picked up a N.E.F. 12 GA. Pardner. Inexpensive gun but it is a 3" gun and I got it cheap. Anyone have any ideas on choke tube? I never even knew they made a  pump.

Those guns are truly "overbuilt" (lots of steel) and all that I've seen have excellent bores. You have a wide choice of chokes since they use the Invector/Win-Choke thread pattern. The Hevi-Shot Turkey Choke is a great choice for that gun.

Thanks,

I love mine.. I shoot an undertaker xt and it is a turkey killing machine with some heavyweights.. It's heavy but it sure does hold a good pattern and point of aim is the best I've seen.

They resemble 870s in many ways. Interior parts fit and actions are relatively smooth. The main objection that most have is the weight. Bore, as stated are good.

I have shot both the 12 & 20 gauge models but not enough or over a long enough period of time to speak to overall quality after having been fired several hundreds of times.

I'm sorry I can't be of more help in this area.

Thanks,
Clark

Thank you Clark. I was thinking the same thing. For a gun made in China it sure feels solid
