Title: PA Hunt
Post by: Strut Buster on April 29, 2016, 04:10:03 PM
I wanted to wish everyone luck on season opener tomorrow. I haven't been here for a while, been busy. I also wanted to show a new toy I just picked up. It's the new Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor with a Bushnell 6x24x40 military style scope. It has proven to be a tack driver for it's namesake. Very hard rifle to acquire as they only make six of them a day.

Best of luck to the rest of the PA boys. Snyder county is a little wet tonight but I have a couple talkative hens just out the ridge to keep me company. Hopefully their boyfriend fires up before dark!

Good luck to all you guys that are hunting tomorrow. I have to work 12 hrs but after that I'm on vacation for 2 weeks. I'm heading to Cameron/Elk counties for a week and then to my camp in Warren county.

Good luck in PA! I don't live there now but grew up there. I'd love to get a report from anyone hunting in Perry Co.

Near perfect conditions here in 4B this morning... Wet, quiet leaves, overcast, NO wind or rain in the forecast. 46-55 degrees for the morning. Should be a good day as the Pennsylvania militia takes to the woods.

Hunt safe, hunt smart, hunt right... Have fun, and good luck!!
