I'm heading to SW Texas soon to try to kill a few Rio's. I sure hope they cooperate. I've been hearing reports of the massive population of jakes running the gobblers away and bad weather, but it looks like the weather will be good for the days I'm there...knock on wood. Will update with kill reports next week.

Last weekend of the season depending on what county you're in. I'll be doing the same, hoping to fill one or both of my remaining tags. I'm a little concerned about th extended forecast, but we'll see what happens. Can't wait to get back out there.
