I've been hunting these birds for two weeks. I had the hang up at 50 yards Saturday morning for some reason? This morning I slipped in close to the roast and man was the fired up!! I knew where these birds went to strut so I put myself in between where the wanted to go. I called one time and they flew down. They must have gobbled 75 times this morning! They walked right down an old road bed and gave me a 35 yard shot. The Old browning A5 had no problem with 2 3/4" #6 federals with the fight control wad. Great way to close out my season! Now back working on getting my 7 year old little boy one!
