Connor had some stuff going on this morning so me and dad went together. I took my bow and dad was gonna back me up. Well we finally caught up with some birds about 10:30.this was the 3rd farm we had been at. The first place we went the hens led the toms away. The 2nd farm we made it about 100 yards from where we parked and someone had a 4 wheeler parked so we backed out and went to another spot. We hadn't been out of the truck no time when one gobbled. Well we ended up slipping up almost all the way to the field and it wasn't there long before 3 toms came by following a couple hens. He was farther than what we thought but the 20ga and federal heavyweight #7s put him down.he weighed 21 pound 15 ounces, 10 3/4 in beard and 1 in spurs
