Post by: Gtown78 on April 22, 2016, 07:43:52 PM
Would like to see your painted guns. It could be any paint on coating just state which one. Also how well has it held up to use? I'm building me a single shot and am going to paint it when done.

This is the 5th or 6th season hunting with my gun.  Lots of miles and kills put on it.  It has held up better than I expected for a rattle can spray paint job.  The key is in your prep work.  Get all the rust, grease, oil, etc off the gun and prime it well.  I do 2-3 coats of primer.  Once that's done, I paint the gun and do 3-4 coats of clear coat.  I couldn't be more pleased with how they've held up.
