Title: Halloran or Cody, 2 pc striker?

I am looking for a new striker to try out on my Gene's slate, and settled on either Cody's Heavy Hickory 2 piece striker or David Halloran's Dymondwood or Purple Heart 2 piece striker... Does anyone have any suggestions on either of the 2 strikers.

I would go with the 2 piece HeartPine from Cody. Not on his website, but you can call and order it.

The old Cody heavy hickory are the ones to get if you can find one. The new ones are not the same

Thanks guys, still looking around... Don't want to spend too much for a striker and trying to find something around 10$ has anyone ever tried Tylersburg Helpers strikers? Pretty nice strikers for the price but don't know how they sound.
