In NJ n NY the seasons are getting very close. In fact youth seasons for both states only days away.
Look to all the other youth day posts from other states n you'll see what a great time can be had.
Still time to invite a youth, you get to hunt early n use all your new calls.
Don't forget the little girls they hunt too.
Best of luck youth n regular seasons
My niece and I had a good time on her first youth turkey hunt last Saturday. It was very exciting as well. Especially when the bird was at the 12' mark right in front of us. She missed but we still had a blast.

It'll keep her coming back for more!
Good luck with the kids and stay safe.
Good luck fellows!

Yeah buddy!! Saturday here in PA. Haven't been hearing much and it's not looking great but my son is still pumped for it. He's defiantly more exited for season than I am! He knows that the prospects aren't very good (he's been out listening with me almost every evening and every weekend morning). But he loves hunting more than anything. At his age (9) I would've got discouraged on slow days. He doesn't. Doesn't matter if it's rain, snow, wind, and no action, if it's hunting then he's happy! I am truly blessed!!
