Title: 4 bearded Stud down in TN

Had a great hunt this past weekend.  It was tough as the birds did not cooperate very well.  But I was able to get a big one down.

26 lbs
4 Beards
1-1/4" spurs

Yep.  I've never really thought about having one mounted but I'll have this one mounted for sure!

Consider getting him gobbling from a strutting position. The beards may show nicely. Good luck.

Here's a North Carolina bird I mounted for a fella a couple years ago. I agree, gobbling would work probably better for showing beards and Spurs both.

That one's full grown. Congrats.

I'd have to agree with some others about gobbling from the limb or a half strut gobbling on a table or pedestal mount to show off the beards. Some great examples here and John is a great guy to deal with.

Here's an idea for ya! This shows off the multiple beards. I had a tough time deciding what mount best shows off the beards & this is the one I went with. Congrats on a nice bird btw!!!

Yeah... There's a lot of options.  I'm thinking strutting and gobbling...  We'll see!

Thanks everyone!  It was a great hunt and I knew he was the stud of the area but I had no idea he was this big...
