Title: 12 0r 20 ga thompson encore barrel

was wondering if any one shoots a Thompson encore 12 or 20  and what kind of chokes they take  was thinking about one looking at pros or cons

I currently shoot the 12. Used an Indian creek .660 and Hevi 13 2 oz 6's with great results. I loaded my own TSS this year and switched to a full choke. Hope to get a 20 ga barrel before next season. Love toting that Encore. Do a lot of walking where I hunt and it fits my style.

I shoot the 12. Had pretty good results with 665 Jellyhead, (older model) and Hevi 13 #7's.  Now shoot Win LB 6's with Pure Gold .670. Both worked wonderful. Great gun to carry, kicks like nothing I've ever shot before though.

Get the 20...Like someone said the 12 can be a handful recoil wise.
