Title: Hearing much?
Post by: Cutt on April 10, 2016, 12:31:53 AM
I know it's early as some States have not started yet, and they can chime in once things get going. But for those hunting now or have been hunting this Season, are you hearing much? Hearing about the same as last year, more or less?

Where I'm at in Illinois they're gobbling like crazy on the roost and not a peep on the ground

West Central Illinois, Monday opener, didn't hear a single peep. Didn't see any in the fields either.

In central Alabama where I hunt they were gobbling a few time before fly down the first couple weeks & since then I have not heard a gobble. This is public land so it may be different elsewhere.
