Title: Opening day bird in East Tennessee

After a morning of listening to birds gobble all over us with no success, I finally got this bird to come in silent a little after noon. He weighed in at 20 lbs. with a 10 in. beard and sporting 1 inch spurs.

Breaking in my new turkey tote I bought from Bird and his son. Turned out to be a nice good luck charm.
