Title: Nut thread serious this time
Post by: 2eagles on April 09, 2016, 07:14:06 AM
There's that old expression, "I'd give my left nut for......" My son can't say that any more.
It was about 6 years ago on vacation, my son felt something not quite right. Hurried home to see his doctor to find he had testicular cancer. He lost one. It's a cancer that is most common in younger men and since a lot of you guys are in that risk age group, I thought I'd tell this story. Caught quick, the outcome is usually good and it was for him. Couple of years later, another son was born. God is good!

Guess he better not try to barter with the right nut then.  :TooFunny:

All joking aside, glad he found it quick enough to get it taken care of before it spread. Cancer is no joke.

Yep. It's not something to mess with. I never used to go for a physical but after my brother was diagnosed with it (he too early on and all is good now) I do now. Better to be safe than sorry. Glad your boy found it and got it taken care of.
