I have a Russell Lynch aluminum call that has the black smooth surface and I just can not get it the hang of it. Is there anything I can try to get a more consistent sound. It feels as if the striker is to hard and it slips. I have tried fred cox strikers gabon ebony, tulipwood, rosewood, cedar. Does anyone have a particular opinion about this call?
IF YOU HAVE SOME CHALK , CHALK THE STRIKER END ~UP AND TRY THAT
YOU WILL BE SUPRISED :icon_thumright:
Rub the aluminum surface with rain chalk before playing.
Thanks! Ill give this is a try, but for now it just gives me more excuses to buy new strikers! I was able to get a couple from harold fowler this morning!
