Little windy this morning. Time of death 9:57. This sucker give me a fit an didn't want to leave the hen. 21.8 pound 1 inch spurs and 9 inch beard. Bumped him this morning he pitched west of me. I got set up and started calling had 5 jakes come within 6 yards but the tom was with them. had to let them walk off then moved all the way around him. Got set up again and he gobbled once and that bucket mouth hen started in on me. I shifted positions again on the side of a ridge. She came in look for that box call and trumpet. I ran her off to the right of me the I hear voooomooon. Had to let him get about 18 yards before I could get a shot on him and I sent him to turkey heaven.
