My son and I got up early again this morning to listen for birds. Nothing. Haven't heard a gobble for 3 weeks. I know it's early yet (youth season isn't until the 23rd) but I'd be lying if I said I'm not a little nervous! Lots of guys around here are hearing birds every morning (my buddy heard 6 this morning). I just hope it's not a repeat of last spring when it seemed like I couldn't buy a gobble!!
I suspect that in 10-20 it will be a story of the past.
