Title: Short box, long box, approx lengths?
Post by: TLB on April 02, 2016, 08:12:57 AM
Hello all!

I've just finished my first box call, it's about 6", and was wondering if there is a concensus on length of the box for a "short" box and a "long" box?  Or builder's choice on what he can make sound good?

A typical cost style short box is 7.5-7.75" and a boat paddle/ long box 12-12.5".   Some build them a little shorter and have great success with them.
