Title: East Tn weather for opening day
Post by: MouthCaller on March 31, 2016, 11:21:26 PM
Looks like it's going to turn out pretty good although we have some strong storms at the moment from my weather app it should be clear and sunny from lunch through sunset at about 70 degrees.... I'm hoping this will shut the gobblers down for half the day tomorrow leading into them being fired up Saturday! Seems like we've had this weather pattern either last year or 2 years ago and it turned out to be a great weekend! Stay safe Tennesseans!

Forecast has changed to what it told me earlier and it might not be good... rain has already moved out for the day today should be sunny and dry but now there's about 70-90 percent chance around 3am opening morning... they may not gobble if they're soaking wet but if they do it will make it really easy to slip up on them in the hardwoods...

I'm in East Tennessee also. Wednesday morning the birds were fired up. I have t heard the first bird the past two days because of these storms. It's supposed to cool off some in the morning and the pressure is on the rise, I believe it's going to turn out to be a good one

Heading down from Ohio to hunt the first few days in Northeastern TN. Keeping a close eye on the weather and hoping for the best. Good luck to all!

I've been hearing birds gobbling around 7:05 which would be 6:05 for you. Fly down around 7:30. I plan to be in the woods and situated by 6:30
