New to the board and ready to stir the pot! Good luck to everyone this spring. First Rio's already down in S. Tx. and more to come. Some buddies and I went 3 for 3 last week.

Depends on the time of year really. We've got about 3,000 acres south and east of Sonora ... probably approaching 4 hours away but right now, I'm trying to flange up a deal on 4980 acres in Uvalde which isn't far from there at all. We've got property up in Central Texas and Southwestern Oklahoma as well we hunt.

Sonora has a TON of birds - you ought to do pretty good!

Congratulations on a great bird and picture. My daughter and I are currently on our way to Sonora to chase some Rio's ourselves.
