Title: Need a little help!
Post by: Jake18 on March 30, 2016, 10:17:21 AM
I have a Benelli SBE 2 that I bought some Williams sights for and found out now that they won't work because there is not enough adjustment. The gun patterns great with Longboard #6 and Trolock choke. The issue is my eyes are getting older and need some type of sight. I do not want a scope. Any options? Thanks in advance.

So your guns shoots straight with the factory beads but there's not enough adjustment in the firesights to make it shoot straight with the sights installed?

My SBE2 shoots straight with every choke/shell I have tried.  But I still like having the Burris FastFire 3 on it.

I don't know if it shoots straight with factory beads. I have a hard time seeing them. The pattern is amazing just need it 6-8 lower.

The rib on the SBE 2 looks like it is higher toward the receiver so you might be able to slide the Williams rear sight forward on the rib and see if that will lower your POI.

I'll give that a try. After talking to Williams sights they said that the sight shouldn't even work because the rib is the wrong size. I wish they would have told me that before I spent the money on it.

That's strange, because the say right on their sight that the Williams Universal Slugger will attach to virtually any vent rib.  I love mine!  http://www.williamsgunsight.com/gunsights/image_s.htm
