I was wondering if anyone would know the callmaker of this wingbone. I purchased this online about 8 years ago and has been a turkey killer. This call is uniquely wrapped with elk tenon, nice scrimshaw work and a hemp lanard. I added the lipstop. This call is a keeper, just curious if anyone would recognize this fine workmanship.
I have one also and at one point I tracked down the paperwork. It sounds like a silly name, but whistling wings keeps ringing in my mind. I will try to track down info. I believe he made a version of that call with a replaceable beak instead of using the wingbone. This is going to drive me crazy now. I will look.
That's really a cool looking wingbone. I always make sure make sure that the call maker signs and dates their calls. It's a little piece of history.
If it is whistling wings, then it is David Lackey

That's some old info, but it may still be good.
